Develop strategy to meet the challenge of change and innovation in institutional banking markets
Our client, one of Australia's major banks, is seeking a 'Thought Leader' for their Institutional Banking division. This role is based in the Sydney CBD and will report into their Head of Institutional Banking 1st Line Risk.
This newly created role focuses on current and future Institutional Banking trends internationally and their relevance for the Institutional Bank. Some examples include robotics in banking process, artificial learning and the broader application of Blockchain.
The bank is looking for someone who has played an instrumental role in guiding Institutional Banking operations through similar challenges. This may have been achieved via an internal role in banking, a consulting role within professional services or Fintech, or indeed from within a regulator or a combination thereof. A demonstrated ability to build internal and external networks is vital, as is the ability to leverage these relationships to develop recommendations for inclusion in the institutional banks transformation agenda.
Whilst domestic candidates will be considered, our client is also looking to capitalise on the unique experience of candidates coming out of highly regulated markets such as the UK and Europe, where regulatory and competitive pressures have resulted in re-calibration of transformation programmes to include much broader innovation.
For this role our client will sponsor and relocate appointed candidates and dependents should this be required. Visas gained would enable dependent family members as well as the candidate to work in Australia.
The anticipated package for this role will be circa AUD $240k base salary plus superannuation (pension) and bonus.
