Analyst/Associate, Digital Communications Officer


SG CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Société Générale Group. Present in over 50 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia.SG CIB provides corporate, financial institutions, investors and public sector clients with value-added integrated financial solutions.

Group Communications define, implement and assess the information, brand and image strategies of the Societe Generale Group in relation to its internal and external audiences.
The APAC Communications team supports the Group's communications plan and builds on regional initiatives with a focus on expert-areas such as Branding, Advertising, Media Relations, Events, CSR / Citizenship, Sponsoring and (internal and external) Corporate Communications.

Digital platforms and tools like internet, intranet and social media form an integrated and important part of Societe Generale's capacity to support its communications with stakeholders and to deliver messages and information to its various internal and external audiences. The Digital Communications Officer is in charge of integrally managing Societe Generale's APAC visibility and performance on digital platforms, in particular on our APAC website, APAC LinkedIn, APAC Twitter and other social media, as well as APAC Intranet.

Main responsibilities

  • Acting as the regional expert on digital communications tools, including delivering support to Societe Generale's digital communications tools strategy and action plans for China, Japan and India
  • Managing timely production and delivery / distribution of all digital initiatives and projects
  • Developing attractive messages / pages / presentations on digital platforms and tools
  • Publishing correct and validated content
  • Monitoring up-to-dateness of content and alignment with our global, regional and local communications strategies and key messages
  • Monitoring Societe Generale's image on social media on a daily basis, support with issues management and crisis communications when needed
  • Developing SEO approaches and boosting followers and readership rates
  • Providing management information (web stats, views on relevant topics in the digital area, monitoring competition)
  • Liaising with global counterparts in Paris
  • Managing external suppliers, when and where relevant.

Requirement (Qualification/ Years of Experience/ Skill / Knowledge)

  • Technical competence (essential / good to have):
- Proficiency with relevant content management systems like LifeRay, Typo3
- Proficiency with publishing / interacting / community management on social media
- Proficiency with SEO tools / techniques
- Able to retract and analyze web stats (Google Analytics)
- Command of project / traffic management skills
- Command of multi-media tools / programs, including photo / video shooting and editing
- Command of social media writing skills
  • Academic qualification
- Degree qualified, ideally in Communications
  • Other qualifications
- Experience in international corporations
- Feeling comfortable in dealing with different cultures in a multiple-location environment
- Responsive, responsible and accurate
- Structured, solid deliverer
  • Years of working / relevant experience
- 3 - 5 Years
  • Language skills
- Excellent command of English, in particular writing and editing skills for social media and digital, on-screen communications
