An international asset management house is looking for high calibers to join as Finance Director or Above. The position is based in Hong Kong.

Our client is an international asset management house with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit high calibers to join them.

Reporting to Head of Finance, responsible for financial accounting and controllers work, directing the annual planning, forecasting process and analysis also management reporting activities relating to the business. Responsible for the preparation of financial statements and necessary financial filings with regulators. Accountable for providing oversight for accurate, timely, and relevant monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to  deliver  all financial requirements of the business. Produce the annual audited financial statements. Ensure all local regulatory reporting regarding this legal entity in completed in a timely and accurate manner. Coordinate the preparation of the Annual Plan and Quarterly Forecasts for the revenue, expenses, AUM and net cash flows as inputs to the annual planning cycle.  Oversee the modeling of results, in-depth analysis, issue identification and scenario testing. Work closely with Senior Management and business unit representatives to manage the timeline, deliverables, and analysis associated with the quarterly forecast and annual plan packages.  Play a leading role in driving the audit process. Oversight and coordination with tax department regarding corporate tax issues. Participate in the production and review of the transfer pricing process, which includes developing procedures that ensure costs are shared between legal entities, applying a market value markup to these costs and ensuring that there is appropriate documentation. Manage growing team with responsibility for hiring, compensation, promotion, and performance management.

To be considered, you should be a degree holder with a minimum of 10 years of finance/ accounting experience. Experience with Asset Management or Fund Accounting is a must. Sound understanding of fund accounting process. Experience in dealing with SFC on FRR filings. Leadership skills. Solid communication skills in English and Chinese. Familiar with Sun/Laws on GL systems.
