Business Analyst (Journey Expert)
Business Analyst – ANZ, Deposits & Wealth

There are two opportunities available one Permanent role and one 12 month, Fixed Term Contract role.

The purpose of the Deposits & Wealth business is to provide products that are simple, easy to use and enable our customers to bank with confidence. Through the design, manufacture and management of a simple range of savings & transaction products to bring the customer proposition to life for our Retail & Business customers.

As a Business Analyst (known internally as a Journey Expert), in our Compliance Ready team your mission is to ensure our products, systems and processes are fit for purpose in a way that supports external and internal regulatory compliance so our customers and communities can have confidence in us.

You will use your business analysis skills to identify and implement robust solutions and successfully manage and embed deposit product related changes. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure business and customer impacts have been considered, whilst bringing your problem solving and analysis mind set to help the bank support best practice compliance.

What you bring to the Deposits & Wealth Tribe?
  • Existing functional experience or expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Product management, Business Analysis, Change Management, Implementation
  • You have some experience and understanding of Banking Products / Product Management and how changes can be implemented.
  • Ability to explore customer needs in a data-driven way, develop and implement innovative solutions, test the outcomes, and iterate
  • As a Business Analyst you will have performed analysis and definition of business requirements, conducted impact assessments, communicated change impacts to stakeholders, and supported in the end-to-end journey of implementing the change.
  • You will participate in workshops, to elicit requirements and provide solutions to meet customers’ business needs with oversight by a Product Owner and with support of the team.
  • You will be responsible for eliciting, documenting and managing the requirements throughout; analytical activities such as process modelling, testing, gap analysis, and change transition.
  • An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs and wants, putting them at the centre of everything you do.
