Here's where you come in

To support the growth of AustralianSuper we are seeking a Manager - Performance Reporting who will be responsible for managing a small team responsible for the delivery of official investment performance & attribution reports for investment strategies, asset classes and investment options offered by AustralianSuper.

In this role you will:

  • Require a deep understanding of measuring performance complex investment strategies and working closely with Front Office teams to ensure the strategy is measured consistently with how it is implemented.

  • The Manager will work closely with the Data, Platforms and Portfolio Oversight teams as well as Front Office Investment team members to identify any gaps in data, structure or systems that require enhancements to effectively measure new strategies, portfolios and securities.

  • You will continue to improve existing business as usual practices, continue to provide senior support for other team members, enhance existing models and deal with ad hoc challenges as they arise.


You'll Need

The successful candidate will have deep understanding of financial markets and valuation of various instruments, you will also possess the following:
  • Solid understanding of relevant performance standards and attribution methodologies, in a multi-currency environment;
  • Design, build, preparation and delivery of performance and attribution reporting;
  • Experience in "whole-of-fund" level (multi-asset) attribution analytics
  • Experience with performance and attribution systems that support leading practices
  • Proven ability to build strong and sustainable working relationships.
