Broker Assurance Manager
How will I help?

The Broker Assurance Manager role within the Mortgage Conduct Team is responsible for supporting the assurance and monitoring activities of the business by leading and conducting the reviews to broker business. These reviews will be focused on single brokers or group of brokers that hold their own Australian Credit Licence (ACL) and who are currently accredited by Westpac under our Agreement with one of our aggregator partners.

This is a key function within the business to manage and mitigate operational and compliance risks, which is aligned with Westpac's response and commitments made to the regulators regarding the Group's oversight and assurance of broker industry practices when assisting customers with their financial and mortgage needs

What do I need?

You'll need a strong background in financial services, compliance and risk management with a Strong understanding of mortgage broking/lending market in Australia preferred. You'll be organised and methodical with demonstrated high level analytical and investigative skills. Strong knowledge of NCCP compliance requirements and licensing under the Corporations Act is required. You will also be required to be flexible to travel interstate as required across the franchise network.
