Head of Strategy, Planning and Performance - Citi Cards & Loans
This is a senior role within Citi's Cards & Loans business and is responsible for ensuring all activities within the division are on strategy and optimized to deliver on key goals. The role manages a team of managers and a total team of 15 staff and will oversee three key functions: strategy and performance, business planning, and business controls.

    Primary Responsibilities include:
    • Formulating and executing strategies to drive performance, profitable growth, and improvement across the division, and providing strategic leadership for the Cards and Loans Prioritization Forum
    • Leading all business planning and analysis, including ownership of internal P&Ls in conjunction with Product Heads and delivery of financial commitments and expense budget management
    • Ensuring all activities impacting the division is on strategy and meets corporate hurdles and ROI requirements
    • Leading key deliverables for business reviews and governance forums (e.g. Regional visitors, regulatory reviews, corporate governance documents)
    • Driving portfolio optimization for the Cards, Consumer Lending and Diners Club businesses
    • Driving improvements in the overall control framework across the Cards, Consumer Lending and Diners Club businesses, and formulating strategies to drive profitable and sustainable growth, optimize processes, ensure high control levels are met, and identify control gaps

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial or professional services industry, minimum 5 in a people management capacity.
    • Tertiary degree and/or professional qualifications (eg. CA/CPA) preferred but not required
    • Experiences in consumer banking products, especially Credit Cards is preferred
    • Strong business acumen, need to understand the business model and ability to understand the potential impact of change
    • Strong leadership / relationship skills to work effectively with cross functional teams
    • Experiences in developing financial models to valuate business case
    • Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills and an analytical mindset
