Manager, Liquidity Risk Management, Group Treasury

Working closely with management at all levels, you will focus on liquidity policy, liquidity scenario modelling and funding as well as liquidity analysis. You will play a crucial role in ensuring we are able to meet all of our liability obligations and ensure ongoing compliance with the liquidity policy and risk appetite. The team reports to the Chief Financial Officer and provides advice and insights to support key strategic decisions regarding the Group's capital, funding and liquidity position.

You will develop and maintain a deep understanding of regulatory liquidity requirements and use this to develop methodologies and insights that will assist with senior management decision making. Development of junior team members and contribution of papers to Macquarie's Asset and Liability Committee and Board will also be an opportunity to seize in the role.

This role will suit you if you are analytical, are commercially minded and enjoy problem solving. In addition, we ask that you have an outstanding academic background in a finance or quantitative degree (actuarial, accounting, commence, economics, engineering or mathematics or similar) and strong written and verbal communication skills alongside the ability to interpret and explain complex data.

Experience of liquidity risk management in a large, complex financial institution would be advantageous. Alternatively, market risk experience within a similar organisation would also be considered favourably.

The Financial Management Group provides financial, tax and treasury services to all areas of Macquarie.
