Avaloq Australia Services Organization is responsible for acting as a trusted advisor to our clients on their Avaloq related initiatives. As a Business & Technical Consultant at Avaloq, you will have the chance to establish a varied career in consultancy and/or project management by working for one of the leading providers of FinTech solutions to wealth managers and banks.
Solution Design: You will have the opportunity to contribute to different aspects on major Avaloq projects. This may include leading a functional stream, performing gap analysis, designing solutions. In this role you will have a responsibility to run outcome-based client meetings and workshops.
Data Migration: Lead the Data Migration practice for Australia. Define data migration strategies between the systems involved. Analyse and document data migration activities, defining necessary flows and data content. Liaise with the responsible counterparts on the customer side. Support clients in their data extraction activities and overview mapping processes. Implement transformation and data loader procedures, as well as related reconciliation tools (Source vs. Target).
Data Management: Analyse and document data interfaces' requirements and processes between solution components. Contribute to the evolution of the Data Integration Layer, supporting the definition of the data entity objects. Define Conceptual Data Models, Logical Data Models and Physical Data Models.
Client Relationships : Support the project managers/account managers in maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers. You should be able to lead through influence to align all stakeholders, internal and external, to achieve the desired outcomes.
Coaching: The role will not have any direct people management responsibilities; however, it is expected that you develop expertise in multiple areas across Avaloq applications and coach your peers and juniors on those areas.
What you need
- Completed University Degree in Computer Science or a similar education background
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- Strong programming competences in PL/SQL and SQL statements (including scripting languages), as well as the practical experience with ETL tools
- Well-developed analytical and conceptual design skills reinforced by a structured problem-solving approach
- Good teamwork ability and communication skills
- High client orientation
- Ability to autonomously get around in a highly challenging, fast paced and complex environment
