We are building a team of experienced, enthusiastic banking and finance professionals to help drive the growth of the CCB in Australia, by delivering a world class global platform to the MME segment of Australian corporates ($250mil - $1bn turnover). As a Relationship Manager, you will support the Senior Relationship Managers to ensure that our clients have a remarkable experience with unparalleled service day after day.
Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Actively calling on clients to deepen relationships and proactively owning, responding to and anticipating any future needs, challenges or risks
  • Serves as a contact point for the clients daily requests and is responsible for the managing internal departments to address any customer service issues
  • Working with product specialists and subject matter experts across the bank's global product platform to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients' individual needs
  • Prepare/oversee new transaction submissions & annual reviews for onward submission to credit committees - covering both investment grade and also sub-investment grade / leverage finance credits
  • Assist in the on boarding and retention of clients, ensuring the appropriate "Know Your Client" (KYC) and other compliance deliverables are met
  • Assist in the research and identification of prospective

  • Leveraging the expertise and capabilities of other Citi businesses to better achieve mutual business goals together
  • Supporting the Senior Relationship Managers in structuring deals that balance risk and reward

Qualifications

Key skills, attributes and experiences required:
  • MME, Corporate and/or Institutional Banking experience with exposure to various products - transaction banking, financial markets, trade finance, capital markets
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis and transaction processes, with the ability to either complete or co-ordinate credit memos for approval
  • An optimistic and proactive approach to finding new opportunities for clients, looking beyond immediate business silos and geographic borders
  • Strong financial and analytic skills, and the resilience to quickly adapt priorities based on the latest data insights
  • Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience we deliver for our clients
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and cultural skills to work with a variety of countries and products across the regionUniversity degree or higher (MA or MBA highly regarded)
  • Previous coursework or experience in Finance, Accounting, and Economics
