Senior Risk Analyst
We are looking for an experienced Risk Analyst to join Experian's Risk Strategy function. This team is responsible for understanding client and partner risk management processes and controls, identifying banking, e-commerce, travel, insurance, and government industry trends, highlighting emerging fraud threats, and defining, implementing, and measuring the performance of new risk strategies for our clients.

Key duties of a Risk Analyst at Experian include:

  • Maintain existing client risk strategies and continually showcase Experian's value promise
  • Innovate, develop, test, deploy, and measure new risk strategies and rules and provide a proactive, rapid response to threats.
  • Design and implement business intelligence dashboards that highlight client, use case, model, and rule performance and value.
  • Promote Experian thought leadership and publish key industry metrics.
  • Produce and deliver best-in-class training curriculum across clients and partners.


Ideally, you will have experience and skills in the following areas:

  • Five years' experience in risk analytics or fraud/risk management and a thorough knowledge of the use and application of analytical methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of retail financial services, e-commerce, and/or insurance industry verticals as well as experience in analysing Internet fraud, link analysis, tools, processes, case management, threat vectors, and industry alliances.
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to engage at all levels as required ranging from operational staff to senior executives, and with key stakeholders in a constructive manner.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to deliver on deadlines and perform with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with complex software configurations and some understanding of technical and data architecture.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who possess a degree with a high numeric content, e.g. mathematics, statistics, operational research, economics, and those who have programming skills with Data Software including SQL and SAS
