Key Accountabilities:


  • Develop and support solutions using Microsoft C#/.NET stack, JavaScript, MS SQL, and scripting languages (.e.g. Python) according to accepted industry standards
  • Assist the team in management of on and off shore vendors
  • Provide leadership and ownership in all aspects of the technical solution
  • Participates in project and team meetings interacting and collaborating with team members and other departments as appropriate
  • Prepare technical documentation to deploy and support the finished applications
  • Provides support to team members and application support analysts


Qualifications
Core Knowledge:

    At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET front & back-end including packaging and deployment Computer Science/Engineering Degree/Diploma or equivalent working experience Practical working knowledge of ASP.NET (MVC / MVVM / Web API), JavaScript, Entity Framework , JSON/ REST Demonstrated expertise with SQL Server (2008+) creating relational database objects (tables, columns, stored procedures, scalar and table-valued functions, etc.) Experience with source control systems (Git, Subversion or similar) source control is essential Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes Demonstrated experience understanding approaches, tools, techniques, roles and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients and business partners Solid communication skills in English, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and within a team Ability to adapt and develop in-depth technical understanding of new/ different applications Knowledge and understanding of data warehousing concepts including OLAP in an asset Knowledge of the banking/ financial industry is an asset Experience working in an Agile environment is an asset
