Senior Analyst, North American Credit Systems Management
Work within a team of senior analysts executing system configuration changes and technology initiatives supporting the decision strategies of Risk and the Business, operating within prescribed guidelines for effective controls and management of risk, while providing technological expertise to continually enhance and improve the Bank's automated decision capabilities and supporting processes.

Risk Management and Control
As a core accountability, plan and execute system changes following NACSM's standard control practices:
• Ensure technological stability without negatively affecting delivery timelines;
• Balance and adapt standard deployment cycle methodologies with agile projects and timelines;
• Adhere to high standards of accuracy in the delivery of changes, minimizing error rates and cross-impacts
• Follow a defined accountability matrix for operational decision making, project planning, recommendations, etc.

Business Delivery and Operational Effectiveness
Execute on Risk-led and Enterprise initiatives:
• Executes activities associated with assigned Segments, Products & Processes
• Ensure prompt, accurate and successful implementation of products and services and client problem resolution;
• Ensure documentation standards are followed, accurately reflecting the implementation of existing and proposed tables and strategies
• Ensure solutions and operational design of system configurations makes optimal use of environment constraints and capabilities while accommodating for future enhancements
• Follow NACSM Change Management process, including project planning, design, development, testing/simulation, implementation and post implementation activities

Change and Innovation
Champion change within the organization:
• Technological research into current industry leading trends and advanced decision methodologies;
• Continual skills development both personally and through coaching/training of direct reports;
• Lead the improvement of processes and procedures by providing input and recommendations to the team;
• Continually seek out and embrace new ideas for enhancing NACSM's processes in order to better meet the needs of the bank

Client and Relationship Management
Act as NACSM Business Relationship contact for select projects and/or lines of business:
• Support the System Manager in providing proactive engagement on project meetings with business and technology groups;
• Maintain regular and transparent communication with stakeholders to ensure common understanding of requirements, timelines, expectations and status of projects;
• Ensure that assigned projects are prioritized with the assistance of the System Manager in aligning to the goals and objectives of NACSM;
• Provide timely and effective updates to the System Manager on status of assigned projects and business initiatives

Scope and Impact
• No direct financial impact
• Provide input and recommendations that have direct impacts on automated decision rates and associated business processes
• Oversight and accountability of user controlled systems environments, including the identification of capabilities and limitations

Cross-Functional Relationships
This role requires the incumbent to interact with the following processes and/or groups:

• Lines of Business (P&C Can & U.S.; Corporate; Wealth Management)
• Third party vendors (CGI; FICO; Credit Bureaus)
System Management responsibilities extend beyond P&C Risk Consumer Portfolio Management to:
• P&C Risk Commercial Portfolio Management
• P&C Canada Lending Products
• P&C Canada Commercial System Infrastructure
• P&C Canada Process Simplification & Technology
• TDEI P&C Sales & Service
• P&C US Commercial Business Banking
• P&C US Retail Lending
• North American Collections

Knowledge and Skills

• A university degree/college diploma in technology or business related discipline and/or 3+ years of related work experience
• Advanced knowledge of Lending/Credit Systems &/or Automated Decision/Business Rules Management Systems (e.g.: Triad, FICO DMP)
• Knowledge of Decision Model and Notation (DMN)
• SAS or SQL experience desired
• Ability to oversee, coordinate, partner in and/or lead multiple projects of moderate complexity
• Knowledge and understanding of BMO products, processes, controls & practices
• Demonstrates the Being BMO model consistently and establishes same expectations within the team
