Job description :

Operational Due Diligence Analyst

Axeltis is looking for an analyst to perform ODD on fund companies.

You will be in charge of assessing asset manager company operational environment on the scope of expertise requested by our institutional clients.
As such, you will oversee the collection of information request with fund companies.
Based on these information, with the support of an internal methodology and other members of the team, you carry out analyzes and recommendations on asset managers and the operating environment of their funds within a UCITS framework.
You formalize your analysis and opinions through reports that highlight the risks incurred and the elements that contributed to your evaluation.

These services are mainly done in English and you may have to make a presentation or specify yours analyzes to customers. Analyzes of the structures studied are usually followed up. Therefore, you also track all information relating to any change in the scope of investment of our customers to review its impact in terms of risk.
Capacity to contribute to the development of the team's activity and internal tools for optimization and data management will be appreciated.

Profile and skills required

  • Advanced training in business school, engineering or postgraduate specialized in management / finance.
  • Prior experience in the asset management with a 3/5 years track record in an analyst or risk-manager position.
  • Good knowledge of the fund industry, financial instruments and the regulatory framework of asset management.


Main qualifications required

  • Rigorous, critical analysis, curiosity, autonomy and good writing skills in both French and English.
  • Good relationship.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • A good practice of office tools (Excel / VBA / Word / Powerpoint).
