AVP, Investment Consultant, Private Banking 

Key Accountabilities

• Cover Hong Kong equity markets to provide market strategies and investment ideas on regular basis;
• Maintain a HK-equity coverage list with timely updates on both fundamental and market movements of covered names;
• Contribute to monthly investment outlooks on both market views and asset allocation from HK equity perspective;
• Provide structure product ideas with various underlying assets based on market and industry trend;
• Spot investment and trading opportunities in equity area;
• Cooperate with RMs to review clients portfolio and provide advice on portfolio rebalancing via conference call or face to face meeting;
• Response to RMs as hoc inquire;
• Such other duties as shall be directed by your superiors from time to time

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor degree in relevant disciplines, such as Finance, Economic and Business Administration, MBA and Master degree is a plus
• 8 years or above of relevant industry experience, private banking preferred
• SFC/HKMA Type 1 and 4 license is required
• Knowledge in equity and structure products in private banking area
• Good understanding of global financial markets
• High standard on compliance and risk control to meet bank’s policies and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Excellent team spirit and able to work under tight time pressure
• Client- focused team player with highest standards of ethical and professional behavior
• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese (both Cantonese & Mandarin)
