International Hedge Fund are looking for Accountant to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate & fund accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

Responsibilities

Manage all finance, accounting and fund accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cash Flow Managament and Revenue Recognition
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Financial reporting and analysis
Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting
Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
Stakeholder and offshore investor management
Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
Preparing company tax statements
Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Research technical accounting issues for compliance
Support month-end and year-end close process
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Requirements

Either in a Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager / Fund Accounting role at the moment
Asset Management / Buy-Side background preferred, but not completely neccessary
3-6+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
CPA or CFA preferred
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with creating financial statements
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
English speaking
