Analyst - Finance system & project

Responsibilities

• Provide support and resolve issues on usage of PC hardware and software with users of this Department
• Resolve queries related to FMS / HFC system issues from internal department users
• Deal with other department users for project development and system interface testing
• Coordinate with IT Department and external technical service provider for PC hardware and software issues, project implementation issues
• Update records for endpoint security control, user access control, computer hardware and software licences control and system development process control; and to input transactions to the e-requisition system, service manager system and project and portfolio management system of this Department
• Review the daily update of the Head Office – MIS Portal
• Act as system administrator of the Finance Management System for system record maintenance, report and query retrieval and development, inbound and outbound file development and review
• Perform high level review on GL interfaces testing and ensure that GL entries are complied with the validation requirement of the GL system and the predefined accounting rules
• Follow up tasks timely according to project plan
• Prepare and update procedure manual and related documentation

Requirements

• University graduate, preferably in accounting, business administration, information technology, or any relevant subjects
• Student or member of HKICPA or ACCA or other related professional qualification is an advantage but not a must
• At least 1 year of experience in the banking or accounting fields;
• Experience in administering accounting system;
• Experience in using reporting tools or PC programming;
• Good knowledge of MS Office;
• Accounting knowledge of treasury and financial derivative products preferably;
• A team player with good communication skills and risk awareness;
• Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is preferable
