About the team

Systems Operation Section (SOP) is responsible for System Daily Operations for both head Office Systems and local EUC systems. Some other IT support includes hardware, software installation and maintenance as well as Field support to the business users. In addition, the team is also responsible for    promotion and implementation of IT solution projects.

Role requirements

  • Provide field services work for internal business users technical assistance;
  • Setup and configure Laptop, Tablet & Smartphone for business trip or mobile users;
  • Perform software installation and troubleshooting;
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Laptop/Desktop, Printers, and other IT applications
  • Self-motivated to find solutions to customer issues under guidance from senior members of the team;
  • Assist with various projects as needed

Essential Functions

  • Produce helpdesk support report in daily and monthly basis;
  • Make recommendation to improve users’ reported IT problem;
  • Communicate and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner;
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure that IT needs are met
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies & procedures in all related areas

  • Continuously acquiring necessary knowledge through day to day work and training, the individual should learn to work independently or in a team;
  • The individual respects for and commits to high standards of business conduct and integrity in conducting operations, reporting and etc.

Work experience, education and skills

  • Degree in computer science or IT or related discipline;
  • Minimum 3 year’s experience in high volume IT Service Desk/Field Services;
  • With working experience in Bank or financial institution a plus;
  • Knowledge of using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, etc.;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Self-motivated to perform with demonstrated ability to multi-tasks.
