The Job
  • Work with Internal/External Audit and Risk Management on IT audit, risk and compliance assessment, and regular reporting
  • Engage with all level of IT staff to gather information for audit and assessment
  • Liaise with IT section leaders on remediation action plans to close the gaps identified during the IT security and risk assessment
  • Tracked the remediation status of audit and assessment observation and recommendation, and prepare management reports
  • Assess relevant policies, procedures, standards, and controls are embedded into BAU IT processes by performing thematic reviews
  • Perform risk assessment and trend analysis to ensure that IT risks are identified, measured, recorded and reported, monitored, and remediated timely and within the Company's risk appetite
  • Prepare materials communicating IT security related messages and supporting management reporting
  • Promote IT security awareness and conduct regular training for staff

The Person
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines is preferred
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in IT, preferably in information security
  • Holder of relevant professional certifications (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CEH)
  • Experience in the banking/insurance industry is preferred, big four advisory experience would be an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of IT risk and control framework and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Able to articulate IT risk in relation to the business
  • Committed, proactive, assertive and positive with a can-do attitude
  • Able to articulate IT risk in relation to the business
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
