The Sales Director, Asia will be responsible for on-boarding and on-going servicing to intermediary institutional clients. The primary objective of the role is to provide a quality service to our institutional clients by giving them a consistent point of contact for the ongoing servicing of the institutional clients in order to retain existing mutual fund business.
Responsibilities
Support the business development and maximize sales opportunities of SICAV/mutual fund by servicing existing clients as well as identifying new clients
Delivering a best in class client experience
Be proactive in the client take on process, working alongside the other business units to assist with the negotiating and implementation of the Investment Management Agreement Responsible for driving the preparation and accuracy of the presentation material for client meetings
Attend client meetings to discuss performance, industry and relationship issues, and where required attend with a Portfolio Manager or Product Specialist
Ongoing client reporting, including enhancing current reporting, liaising internally with the various business units
Maintain information in Salesforce to help deliver an outstanding and timely client management experience, including mailing lists for reporting purposes, templates, opportunities, activity reports etc
Assist in ensuring that all new distribution agreements or updates to agreements are completed in timely manner
Ensure ongoing AML, KYC and DDQ is up to date and in place for all clients
To work alongside the RFP team and assist with manager review questionnaires
To develop cross selling opportunities with current clients
Maintain the external institutional client databases, ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date on out flagship strategies
Work alongside the sales heads across the various business locations, assisting with new prospects as required
Collaborate with other business lines (i.e. ETF) to enhance cross-selling opportunities
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Finance or related discipline
At least 10 years of sales experience is preferable
Client oriented focus
Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese, good Mandarin speaking is a strong plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work under a fast pace environment
