Our client is one of the leading MNC insurer, they are looking for an assistant compliance manager in their special projects team. This person will be handling a broad range of regulatory issues arising from digital initiatives or special projects. This is an exciting opportunity given this person will be handling diverse digital projects and a broad compliance scope. IT Audit Big 4/Consultancy candidates with financial institution experience will also be considered.

Job responsibilities:

To manage the compliance risk arising from digital and strategic initiatives of the business
To keep updated the most updated regulatory developments that might impact the digital initiatives and recommend the necessary changes of the process or policies
To assist on enhancing the compliance framework to manage the compliance risk arising from digital or strategic initiatives
Prepare the relevant compliance report to the senior management
Collaborate with the team to develop the compliance monitoring program by conducting data analysis
Act as the key person to use different data analytics tools to monitor the compliance risks

Job requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics, or a related field
Sound knowledge of compliance, IT audit and data analytics techniques
Relevant working experience in legal/compliance/ audit/ internal controls-related area in the financial services sector. Big 4 candidates/consultancy background candidates will also be considered
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Strong analytical abilities and good interpersonal skills
Fluency in both spoken and written Chinese and English
