Hang Seng Investment Management Limited - Chief Operating Office

Hang Seng Investment Management Limited (HSVM) offers a full spectrum of asset management services to both private and corporate investors. The funds cover different asset classes, including global equities, bonds, money markets and foreign exchange markets. We also provide asset management services for retirement schemes, institutional investors and charitable organisations.
We are currently seeking high calibers to join our department as Assistant Investment Operations Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• Provide fund operations support to asset management business
• Provide support to monitor and detect any exceptions to investment guidelines / regulatory mandates set out for investment services business to comply.
• Develop/update spreadsheets to validate NAV figures for investment funds.
• Support cash management and corporate action processing for investment business and handle regulatory reporting
• Participate in User Acceptance Test (UAT) of system development
• Adhere to operational procedures to ensure compliance with the Bank's guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements

Requirements

• University degree in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years' experience and sound knowledge of asset management operations and investment products
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with strong knowledge of spreadsheet application software an advantage
• Good knowledge of Bloomberg AIM or experience with investment compliance regulation coding and / or accounting knowledge is a definite advantage
• Strong self-motivation, with ability to work independently and under pressure
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Investment Operations Officer.
