Overview
This is one of the fastest growing corporate banks in Asia. Due to growth, they are now seeking to hire an Assistant Vice President - IT Audit (Information Technology Auditor) to join the Group Audit function and provide independent internal audit and objective assurance to guide the bank and improve the banks IT operations.
Role Responsibilities
- Report directly to Vice President, you will conduct audit assignments and control assessments involving Information Technology (IT) applications, infrastructure controls and regulatory requirements for Hong Kong and Asia Offices
- Conduct project reviews on critical IT development programmes to ascertain adequacy of project and change management processes for effective implementation
- Help the group achieve its strategic objectives by adopting and utilizing a systemic and disciplined approach to assess the Bank's internal control structure and raising awareness of control risk
- Providing advice to management in developing control solutions and monitoring the implementation of management's control measures.
- Occasional travel is required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ IT or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in IT internal/external audit or IT risk management
- Relevant professional qualifications (eg. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CPA, CIA, CCAS) will have advantage
- Team oriented with strong sense of accountability
- Understanding of IT application, infrastructure controls and regulatory requirements including IT operations and IT securities
- Knowledge in operation systems, databases, networking and infrastructure
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as well as ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Cantonese
