Our client is a long-standing alternative assets global investment manager who span across private equity, real estate, infrastructure and credit sectors, with strong track record specifically in Asia. They are looking for an experienced Compliance profession to join.
Responsiblities:
- Offers support during all stages of a transaction, from initial background checks to ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies' compliance with FCPA and sanctions regulations.
- Oversees internal compliance initiatives in Hong Kong and Asia, including preparing training materials, responding to staff inquiries, and working with the regional compliance team.
- Collaborates with external counsel to monitor regulatory changes in Asia and implements necessary changes to policies and procedures.
- Assists with regulatory reporting requirements by coordinating internal data gathering and sign-off.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or other relevant disciplines. Relevant professional/post graduate qualifications is an advantage.
- More than 8 years in legal/compliance function at a financial institution/asset management companies/private equity fund.
- Strong communication skills, fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English.
- Team leading experiences is highly preferred.
