The Job:
  • Responsible for managing IT projects aligned with company's SDLC guidelines including requirements management, resources planning, prioritization, budget monitoring, clients' expectation management, system design, change management, contingency planning, risk assessment and mitigation
  • Support and maintain Agency administration / compensation, Risk / compliance and Finance systems; ensure critical and complicated production issues be resolved timely to ensure quality and smooth business operation
  • Lead multiple teams of developer and vendor to implement Agency administration / compensation, Risk / compliance and Finance application project initiatives
  • Work closely with project manager, contractors, and business teams for delivering quality projects and services
  • Manage project execution, communicate project progress and issues to project stakeholders, including analytical reports, presentations and other documentations as necessary throughout the project delivery process
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
  • Establish technical design and development standards
  • Oversee and maintain quality project deliverable within defined and agreed requirements and timeline
  • Manage project risks, identify, determine and recommend risk mitigation solution on projects and implements as appropriate
  • IT staff recruitment, coaching and mentoring

The Person:
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering equivalent discipline
  • Minimum of 15 years of IT experience with at least recent 5 years in managing application development and deployment position
  • Proven track record in developing and managing Agency administration / compensation, Risk / compliance and Finance systems' implementation and BAU support
  • Broad understanding of the technology industry, including current and emerging digital solutions
  • Strong leadership and technical background
  • Effectively communicate across technical, business and executive teams; manage IT deliverable as well as stakeholder expectation
  • High proficient in English and Cantonese, and basic Putonghua communication
  • Self-motivated, inspiring with outstanding project and people management along with strong leadership skills

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Manager position
