This is an entry level position where you - support consultants in high volume candidate generation. You will be given live briefs and areas in which to build talent. Moreover, you’ll be generating long lists and market maps of candidate. The role is to pre-screen candidates with calls to find out basic information and arrange for consultants to register them. With more experience, you will independently meet candidates; managing the complete process from writing profiles to negotiating the final offer and placement.

Responsibilities:

Candidates Sourcing

  • Taking internal job briefs from Consultants, then planning your strategy to cover the role.
  • Advertising job vacancies; writing compelling, clear job adverts using relevant job boards and social media outlets to deliver sourcing support (LinkedIn, JobsDB, efinancialcareers etc.)
  • Conduct market research and gather market intelligence after understanding job descriptions and by then attract the right talent.
  • Receiving and reviewing candidate job applications, CVs and portfolios; managing interviews and short-listing candidates for roles.
  • Conduct initial candidate screening and work collaboratively with team members and hiring managers to coordinate interviews.
  • Look for recent press releases on our key clients to be able to better select and brief your candidates against roles.
  • Offering advice and negotiating pay and salary rates; finalising placement arrangements between clients and candidates.

Relationship Management

  • Informing candidates of the results of their applications and interviews and providing timely, accurate and constructive feedback.
  • Maintaining ongoing relationships with placed candidates.
  • Understanding Company’s Client Relationships
  • Developing a good understanding of what client organisations do and their internal work culture, through speaking to Consultants and where possible attending their client meetings.

Administrative Work

  • Preparing CVs and write ups with accurate descriptions of candidate skills to forward to Consultants 
  • Inputting and updating candidate information to the company’s database
  • Checking candidates’ references, identification and eligibility to work before referral to clients 
  • Coordinate candidate reference checks and offer documents

Requirements:

  • Degree Holder in related disciplines
  • Excellent communication skills and well-versed individuals who demonstrates the ability to build effective relationships with clients; showcases the ability to tailor communication styles for respective audiences (peers, customers, and management)
  • Enthusiasm for Recruitment business with the ability to present a “can do” attitude to show ones’ persistent effort to succeed whilst coping under pressure.
  • A self-starter, and capable of meeting tight deadlines and juggling in between multiple given tasks – especially managing expectations over different stakeholders (Consultants, Candidates and Senior Managements)
  • A team player, who can work well and closely with team members to achieve team goals and maximise performance.
  • First class organisation skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Induces extra effort to deliver top-notch work in time; with an ability to prioritise work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times.
  • A good understanding of the information technology industry and commitment to learning more.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
