Assist local CEOs and regional team to build relationships with MTPs senior management team. Responsible for the strategy definition, strategy execution, customer servicing and business performance of the local MTP/Broker Market, including Multinational. This role has P&L responsibility, which includes all associated tasks and activities for strategy, growth, business planning and performance management.
Primary Responsibilities: MTP/Broker Senior Relationship Management: - Assist local CEOs and regional team to build relationships with MTPs senior management team
- Work closely with QBE global distribution team on MTP enterprise approach
- Coordinate and support activities to extract maximum available value from our strategic partnership arrangements
- Assist in developing global MTP client segmentation strategy for Asia
- Develop and drive consistent broker service model for Asia with defined performance KPIs
- Represent Asia in global MTP working group, sharing MTP relationship, best practices and MTP business development
Customer@QBE Partnership/Customer Centricity - Work closely with Data Analytics team on partnership/client sales and cross sell activity and be the data steward for Asia distribution
- Assist regional distribution director to drive the global customer initiatives including global customer segmentation strategy in Asia
- Assist to drive the implementation of sales and growth strategies and objectives with key intermediaries
- Facilitate on changes and innovations, such as new technologies and customer relationship management processes
Regional business development activities for step change related growth - Help service and develop selective existing large global client bases, upsell and cross-sell QBE regional and global capabilities
- Work with Asia/local product heads, identify the topics and organise market forums
- Initiate, facilitate and capitalize on change and innovations, such as new technologies and customer relationship management processes
- Represent QBE's interests, as requested, work with internal and external groups, and through participation in industry forums and corporate activity
- Gather market intelligence to facilitate management decision making
Qualifications • 10+ years experience combination of education and work experience (preferably from customer service/sales environment)
• More than 5 years' experience in business development and relationship management.
• Have experience in dealing with company senior management and CEOs
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be a plus
• Ability to delivery on agreed targets
• Sales ability and technique
• Customer service and relationship building skills
• Advanced knowledge of insurance sales/business development function is a plus
• Strong knowledge of statutory/ regulatory regime is a plus
