Business Analyst (Bank), Contract
A junior Business Analyst with working experience in the financial institutions to work on mobile app projects for a top tier bank in Hong Kong
Responsibilities:
- Skilled in process mapping, analysis of as-is and to-be processes, and gap assessments
- Demonstrates ability to understand and explain complex business processes, systems, and tools with a specific focus on upstream/downstream impact; understands the relationship between multiple functions and/or tools
- Work closely with users and vendors for system requirement analysis, design, development, implementation and testing on banking projects
- Liaise among users and the technical developers to ensure business requirements are well defined and properly implemented
- Assist project implementation with proactively manage all the potential risks on projects and recommend mitigating measures if required
- Formulate test plans, conduct UAT and regression test
- Manage change control in different stages throughout the project life cycle
- Coordinate effectively with both internal and external parties
Requirements:
- Degree holder with major in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Studies
- Over 3 years of working experience in retail banking industry with solid business analysis experience
- Experience developing internal business facing mobile applications is a plus
- Strong presentation, negotiation, organization and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated, creative, able to work under pressure and be flexible
- Good language skills in Cantonese and English, Mandarin is an advantage
