Private Banking and Trust Services - Private Banking Department We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as
Business Development and Performance Manager. Principal responsibilities - Responsible for the planning of Private Bank's Annual Operating Plan and ensure an effective and efficient deployment of financial resources for the department, drive achievement of strategic and business goals through robust analysis of sales performance
- Actively participate in and support ad hoc projects, including strategic reviews, planning, management information (MI), process and monitor sales reports including forecast and statistical information to drive sales performance
- Drive achievement of strategic and business goals through robust analysis of business performance, using internal and external information sources
- Conduct Private Bank customer segmentation analysis to differentiate clients in terms of profitability and customer values for penetration strategies of each segment
- Monitor the overall income and expenses of Private Bank and develop MIS system to monitor business progress and reinforce different levels of tactical programs leading to the achievement of desired business results
- Provide forecasts based on MI and spending habits, collect and consolidate materials from spending channels to facilitate senior management in developing and refining strategic initiatives
- Assist and collaborate with internal partners on ad hoc sales related business projects and enhancements to streamline revenue and reporting flow
- Engage in Private Banking's cost management to daily operation to drive optimization of resources to facilitate senior management in developing and refining strategic initiatives
- Develop streamlined, concise, and impactful communications to senior management
- Manage operational risk and ensure compliance of the relevant policies and guidelines
Requirements - University graduate in related discipline or other relevant qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' retail banking/ private banking experience, preferably with exposure to retail banking/ private banking business and knowledge of related regulatory requirements and guidelines
- Business sense and knowledge of major products and services available in the private banking or wealth industry
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Attentiveness to detail, compliance and control orientation
- Sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
