Cloud DevOps Engineering Manager - Financial Group

 
Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Cloud DevOps Engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support in their professional growth and development.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and drive the cloud infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Establish and implement best practices for provisioning, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure services.
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of applications.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of our cloud environments through proactive monitoring, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance our existing infrastructure and processes.
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical expertise, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and innovation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 7+ years of professional experience in Cloud DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong background in working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and managing Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Expertise in designing and implementing highly available and scalable cloud architectures.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and experience in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.
