The Group's Communications Team is responsible for protecting and building the Group's external brand and helping frame and shape its internal culture. • Copyediting of corporate marketing or thought leadership materials produced by other business departments, as and when necessary, to ensure message and style consistency across the board
  • Working with various parties within the organisation to develop content for projects and campaigns, including conducting high-quality research and interviews, developing story ideas, etc.
  • Acting as guardian for the brand tone of voice; ensuring consistency in terms of style and quality across all touch points, both online and offline
  • Efficient project management skills including the ability to meet short deadlines, and to multitask, working collaboratively across the team and business

Job Requirements:
  • You will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Politics, Economics/ Finance, Humanities and/or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of relevant corporate communications experience: with a proven record of working in a complex multi-national business environment; and developing and evolving content on-behalf of businesses or brands.
  • Experience in working in either financial markets, capital markets, fintech or market regulation. Broader experience and understanding of technology, economics, global current affairs, sustainability or data would be advantageous.
  • An outstanding command of the English language and obsessive attention to detail with excellent grammar, copywriting and editorial skills.
  • Skilled in delivering content-led communications campaigns using words, images, or audio, and an understanding of how to create content that draws and inspires an audience and at the same time achieving a clear business objective.
  • A real "nose" for a story - training as a print, online or broadcast journalist would be advantageous.
  • A thirst for knowledge and an ability to simplify complex subject matter into strong, impactful messaging and communications collateral.
  • Excellent judgement, integrity, professionalism, positivity and ability to work under time pressure are likely to all be attributes of the successful candidate.
  • Sound project management skills to keep up with the pace of a busy team, embrace changes to briefs, but still meet strict guidelines and schedules for production.
  • Reliable, dependable, and an excellent team player. Demonstrates the HKEX values of Integrity, Excellence, Diversity, Engagement and Collaboration.
