Company
Our client is a young force in the high-frequency trading sphere who is actively engaged in all the major cryptocurrency markets globally. They utilize sophisticated mathematical models and state of the art tech infrastructure to identify value opportunities and capitalize on them. Having experienced strong growth and expansion, they are looking for a software engineer with expertise coding in Python and Typescript and experience developing Blockchain applications to join their software engineering team in Hong Kong. 
 
Role
You will be developing trading systems for crypto currencies within the class of digital assets. Collaborating with traders and other technologists on Defi connectivity and infrastructure, building applications and tools that are critical to the business. This will be a dynamic and varied role in that you’ll be working across multiple teams on tasks such as: Defi order management; blockchain and mempool inspection; wallet management; security; and blockchain node management.
 
Requirements:

• Strong software engineering capabilities (5yrs+) with Python and Typescript.
• Experience building blockchain apps, coding smart contracts or related apps.
• Knowledge of popular protocols such as: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana etc.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Bachelor’s, master’s or PhD level degree in computer science or mathematics.
• A history of good tenure in your career history (e.g., 4+ years average).
• Passion for technology innovation and engineering best practice.
• Experience with C++ and/or Rust advantageous.

 
This role would be suited to a Python/Typescript developer with Blockchain, DeFi experience coding smart contracts or applications that interact with them.
