Company Description
Our client is a reputable hospitality group in Asia. They are looking for an experience finance talent to join their finance team as Assistant Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Financial Controller in managing the hotel's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure the hotel's financial targets are met
- Provide financial advice to the hotel's management team to support decision-making and strategic planning
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans
- Manage the hotel's cash flow, including forecasting and monitoring of cash balances
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities and other stakeholders as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
