Deputy Financial Controller / Senior Accounting Manager

Company Description

Our client is a reputable hospitality group in Asia. They are looking for an experience finance talent to join their finance team as Assistant Financial Controller.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Financial Controller in managing the hotel's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Monitor and control expenses to ensure the hotel's financial targets are met
• Provide financial advice to the hotel's management team to support decision-making and strategic planning
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans
• Manage the hotel's cash flow, including forecasting and monitoring of cash balances
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities and other stakeholders as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
