Responsible for the management of the overall performance of Trade Finance and Loan Document Operations to support Wholesale Banking Group
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall planning, leading the teams to implement short to long term development strategy including resources and budget planning, process re-engineering in order to achieve the vision of the divisions
- Manage a strong and energetic operations team supporting the growth and revolution of trade finance and loan related business in the market
- Deliver a cost effective solution for operations to maintain our competitiveness
- Provide operation support for the Bank’s overseas branches and drive the target operating model and centralized operation in head office
- Provide key operational risk capabilities in terms of identification of control and process gaps and mitigation, incidents management and resolution. Define Key Performance Indicators to track performance and monitor Key Risks Indicators
- Drive and implement the departmental vision on streamlining the process workflow, shorten the turnaround time on customer request and eliminate unnecessary process in order to improve the customer experience on banking services
Requirements
- Degree holder or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years of banking experience in operations, with at least 8 years in managerial level.
- In-depth knowledge of trade finance and loan document operations
- Good understanding of wholesale banking business
- Good analytical, communication and management skills
- Good Command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
