DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing production systems
• System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
• Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
• Ensuring critical system security using best in class security solutions.
• Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency
• Iterate on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments
• Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the engineering team
• Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring
• Work collaboratively with multiple agile teams to help deliver end-to-end products and features, seeing them through from conception to delivery
• Assist to evaluate and standardize server, middleware & database platform including hardware/software.
• Assist to plan the enhancement and refreshment of related technology infrastructure.
• Assist to define IT policy and standards pertaining to Unix/Linux, Middleware and Database.
• Enforce and execute problem and change management procedures
• Support and ensure deliverables follow IT standard and guideline, covering not only anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology or related disciplines
• At least 2 years’ experience with implementing high-scale cloud architectures using modern, cloud-based container and On-Premise Platforms (PaaS/SaaS)
• Excellent coding and scripting skills (Bash, Perl, Python)
• Practical experience with containers such as Docker, OpenShift, AntStack
• Practical experience with continuous integration and related tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, Sonar, etc.
• Related experience in supporting Unix/Linux OS, Middleware and Database.
• Related working experience Solaris/AIX/Redhat Linux, MySQL/Oracle/MSSQL etc
• Related hands knowledge in system integration implementation
• Familiar with DevOps, Middleware/Database implementation, performance monitoring and recovery technique.
• Familiar with Cloud and Virtualization technology e.g. KVM
• Working knowledge in deployment automation solutions (i.e. Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
• In-deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, AliCloud or any Cloud platform in market) and cluster management tools like Kubernetes
• Related exposure to multiple computer platforms.
• Related experience and knowledge on various banking applications and architecture design
• Fair insight to technology trend and new technology
• Certification in OCP and/or RHCE preferred
• PMP/ITIL certification is also an added advantage
• CISA, CISM, CISSP or other cybersecurity certificate is preferred
