Department overview:

Global Revenue Management Team ("GRM") is tasked with maximising the revenue of Fitch Ratings across regions and products. The global team has team members in EMEA, APAC, LatAm and NA. The team seeks to enhance Fitch's global revenue through a disciplined analysis of Fitch's existing portfolios (data mining), pricing strategies, competition and opportunities. The team has also expanded to include a project management team focused on improving efficiencies across the wider commercial function at Fitch Ratings. This role will report to a Director based in Singapore/Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of a Renewal Portfolio across APAC ex-China region with responsibility for contract negotiations with issuers across multiple sectors to include negotiating commercial and legal terms as well as execution of agreements through Fitch's in-house contract lifecycle management platform
  • Maximise revenue, coverage and retention opportunities through the fee agreement renewal process in the region
  • Support the wider commercial function through collaboration with Issuer, Banker and Investor Development teams
  • Devise and implement revenue generating strategies tailored to market dynamics
  • Assist with GRM reporting and GRM initiatives to include management reporting and the implementation of Pricing Committees in the region
  • Where required, contribute and participate in project initiatives designed to improve efficiencies in processes as an APAC regional champion
  • Compare products and pricing to competition
  • Support the wider APAC GRM team where required and work effectively with GRM colleagues to ensure departmental objectives, goals and KPI's are met


Qualifications and experience:

  • 8 years or above experiences in revenue management within Financial Services industry
  • Demonstrated strength in effective influencing, negotiation, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of negotiating professional services contracts will be advantageous
  • Strong track record and experience with Financial Services or similar background
  • Keen interest and wide knowledge of economics and global financial markets
  • Demonstrated strength in effective influencing, negotiation, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident communicator (written, verbal and strong presentation skills)
  • Ability to speak and write fluent English is required, other Asian languages beneficial but not essential
