Director, Lead Business Analyst; Insurance (90-110k + bonus)

My client is a leading insurance institution. They are looking for a Director-level Lead Business Analyst for insurance system/process transformation and development projects. It is a permanent headcount.

• A permanent headcount to directly supervise a sizable team
• Solid domain knowledge in Claims/New Business in insurance field desired
• Insurance background and Cantonese speaking both a must

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a sizable team to execute business and IT projects. and lead off-shore teams
• Lead and drive business and technical solution delivery by planning, design, execution, fulfillment and evaluation of assignment
• Collaborate with business users to understand business requirements and identify necessary tech enhancements
• Gather requirements by understanding business rationale, document requirements, process maps, user journeys, user stories for system/product development
• Translate business requirements into IT deliverables
• Identify the impact of changes to processes and systems, and prepare related documentations
• Support users in preparing UAT test plan, training materials and other relevant documentations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computing science, Business Administration, or relevant
• 10+ years experience as a Business Analysts in Financial Services industry
• Prior leadership and team management experience is a must
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment is preferred
• Solid knowledge in insurance field is strongly desired; consulting firm background with such experience will also be considered
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Excellent commands in Cantonese Chinese is a must; fluency in English is desired.
