Responsibilities

(A) Sales and Operation Management
1) Define strategic objectives and develop District sales and distribution plans for prioritized segments, products and channels to achieve sustainable business results.
2) Instill customer centric sales culture by providing training, motivation, performance-based incentives and sales management tools across his/her branch network.
3) Increase sales capacity of distribution channels through continuous improvement in staff productivity, branch process re-engineering and centralization as well as CRM support in sales led management.
4) Perform regulated activities, Type 1 & 4 specified under the Securities & Futures Ordinance.
5) Manage sales activities and productivity by vigorously reviewing CRM execution and results.
6) Manage working relationship between frontline sales and cross functional and supporting units to enhance execution efficiency.
7) Manage the cost efficiency of our Branch network through continuous network re-configuration effort to reflect the best business preposition.
8) Assume the role of Product Sales Guru, representing T&D in planning and committing sales activities and targets with Product Managers.

(B) People Management & Development
  1. Identify branch managers' competency gaps and weaknesses, recommend training & development plan, and track post-training improvement.
  2. Develop and coach individual branch manager to improve performance and increase effectiveness. In particular, ensure branch managers' full support to develop trainees assigned to/ identified in their branches.
  3. Supervise branch managers' performance and maintain discipline.
  4. Communicate clearly & promptly and give motivation & support to branch managers to encourage their target achievement.
  5. Provide leadership to branch staff to achieve company vision and business goals within the context of overall corporate directive and guiding principles.
  6. Identify core competencies of critical positions and develop bench strength for backups while continuously upgrade the professionalism and skill sets of frontline sales staff.


(C) Customer Experience Management
1) Upkeep the Brand quality through Branch merchandising, image building, community activities and service delivery that constantly exceeds customer expectations.
2) Establish clear customer service standards and a process to ensure such standards are consistently met to achieve targeted customer satisfaction rating.

(D) Audit and Compliance Control
  1. Improve operational control and compliance quality for all branches through leadership, education, on-going monitoring & effective remedial actions.
  2. Ensure full compliance with both external regulatory codes/ordinance & internal compliance policies, standards, guidelines & procedures, particularly those applicable to the course of selling, i.e. sales staff's licensing and fitness & properness, KYC, IPQ, anti-money laundering & documentation completeness in a/c opening & in each deal.
  3. Comply with the registered capacity as well as any conditions imposed by the HKMA. This includes compliance with the applicable requirements of the Code of Conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC.

Requirements
  • Over 10 years of practical experience in Consumer Banking, with key focus on Sales and Marketing Management.
  • Proven track record and skill sets in people management in large sales organizations.
  • University graduate & relevant training in Consumer Banking business related courses;
  • Must be registered RI [ Regulated Activities: Type 1 & 4] with passes in HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 & 8; or equivalent.
  • Must be registered TR [General & Long Term (incl. linked long term)] with passes in IIQE papers 1, 2, 3 & 5; or equivalent.
  • Professional Diploma in marketing and sales management preferred.
  • Over 10 years of practical experience in Consumer Banking, with key focus on Sales and Marketing Management.
  • Proven track record and skill sets in people management in large sales organizations.
