We hire people to tell us how to drive the business forward. If you would like to be a part of a team to rapidly develop scalable technology for market making strategies, and have passion and deep knowledge of software development, you will empowered to go as far as your initiative takes you.
The Candidate will assist in work on a codebase written in Python and C++. Focus will be on correctness, scalability, and readability, so the candidate should be comfortable with writing organized code with proper documentation, writing thorough unit tests, and using robust debugging tools. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Be a part of a talented team to build high performance trading systems.
- Computer Science or Mathematics, undergraduate or graduate degree
- Academic transcript that shows coursework and strong performance in Graph Theory, Abstract Algebra, and Numerical Analysis
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in C++ or any lower-level language
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS
- Experience with Python Libraries: 1. Numpy or Pandas, 2. Matplotlib, 3. Pydot
- Experience with Python Notebooks, Linux, and LaTeX
- Experience with C++ debuggers (e.g. gdb, valgrind, etc.)
- Experience with High-Performance Computing and Big Data
