A US investment bank is looking for an Equity Research Analyst/ A shares specialist to cover the Chemicals, Materials and Utilities sectors.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the analysis of the industry and individual companies within the Chemicals, Materials and Utilities sectors
Produce regular reports summarizing findings and predictions, as well as sector news flow and contribute to overall sector pieces
Develop financial models and industry databases
Interpret data and analysis on market, economic and political events

Requirements:

5+ years of experience covering China stocks in Chemicals, Materials and Utilities. (Candidates with experience covering 2 of the above sectors are welcome to apply)
Both buy side and sell side candidates are welcome.
Fluent Mandarin speaker with good English writing and verbal skills
Travel to the Mainland China
Team player and able to work with other sector teams within the broader Industrials mandate
Strong contacts with corporates and industry experts. Previous track record of hosting NDRs and expert calls is a plus
Develop strong relationships and have regular dialogue with the Equities sales force, traders, clients and companies' management
