Job Responsibilities 

• Report to the Head of Equity Research
• Cover technology sector, not limited to hardware, software, cloud, and autonomous driving.  Primary expertise and coverage in Regional Asia Pacific and Global Stock Markets and supplementary research on Greater China & A share market, from the perspective of Chinese companies’ technology advance and participation in global supply chain, etc.
• Write deep-dive company reports and cluster thematic reports on a regular basis
• Provide timely comments and recommendations on major news and events
• Monitor existing investments and generate actionable ideas to the investment team
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with listed companies, industry experts, sell-side analysts and other market participants
• Provide research and investment support to business development and client management activities

Job Requirements

• Master Degree preferred with at least 5 years relevant working experience with technology research coverage.  Industry background and regional/global research experience are a great plus
• Proficiency in fundamental analysis with valuation-based investment philosophy
• Keen to explore contrarian ideas with solid and persuasive evidence
• Accuracy, data awareness, and attention to detail required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good teamwork spirit
• Able to travel for research
• Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English
