We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Family Governance Specialist.

Principal Responsibilities

  • To assist in developing end to end family and family office as well as business governance solutions and structures for High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth families by collaborating with cross functional teams and external professional advisors for family unity and business succession
  • To help prepare highly tailored presentations and any necessary documents for marketing of family governance and family office solutions to targeted Ultra High Net Worth families
  • To promote family governance and family office services across other lines of business
  • To be part of the team in delivering Family Governance and Family Office Advisory Services by setting out and designing the family governance and family office blueprint after initial assessment of family dynamics, concerns and needs, as well as the implementation, governance and oversight thereafter
  • To support completion of trust and family governance solutions by working with various internal functions, client’s advisors, gatekeepers or family offices for preparation of necessary trust set up and asset transfer documents
  • To assist in implementation of family governance solutions through developing financial models and performing industry, project, sensitivity and scenario analysis for ongoing oversight of the performance of trust underlying assets
  • To facilitate the review of significant transactions across industries and geographical locations and identify key opportunities and risk factors as part of the family governance process
  • As family governance services delivery, to help evaluate business performance of major operating companies with Ultra High Net Worth families in governance meetings 
  • To collate and support the appraise of market updates of major trust assets and prepare news feed for the platform for risk management purpose
  • To assist in implementation of family office solutions with scope defined and agreed with clients from time to time

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or relevant disciplines
  • Sound analytical mind
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with client facing experience
  • Attend to details
  • Good team player
  • Works independently and takes initiation
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin/Chinese preferred
  • Finance or accounting background would be an advantage
