Fixed Income Trader [SA-VP]

Responsibilities

• Responsible for trading fixed income products and related hedging activities
• Manage trading book liquidity and monitor cash position
• Responsible for real time market risk management of trading book, and timely monitor credit risk
• Identify opportunities in the market, formulate trading strategies and propose trading plans
• Analyze global economics, monetary policy, rates and fx markets
• Conduct investment research for Fixed Income investments products
• Work closely with other functions within FICC to generate revenue
• Perform market update for internal distribution

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Finance, Economics or related disciplines,  SFC/HKMA Type 1,4 license is required, professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, etc. is an advantage;
• 5-8 years of experience in Fixed Income trading with a focus on China IG is a must, DM IG credits is preferred
• Experience in performing credit analysis
• Experience in dynamic interest rate hedging techniques
• Experience in analyzing global economics and monetary policy
• Proficient in Bloomberg and Wind;
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, proficient in MS Office;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, good team-player, self-motivated, attention to details and well-organized.
