Global Markets Internship (6-month)
Who we are looking for State Street Global Markets is one of the leading players in the foreign exchange markets, with extensive capabilities in the G10 and EM Asia space. Our trading desks in Hong Kong are the epicentre of our FX business within Asia Pacific, driving the pulse of our Sydney, Seoul, Singapore, Taipei and Tokyo offices.
As part of this team, you will be able to develop invaluable insights into the intricacies of the $5.1 trillion a day FX market and gain an exposure to our numerous FX offerings - namely spot, forwards and NDFs. You will work alongside our sales and trading teams and will be expected to provide high level technical and investment analytical support to the desks, particularly in transforming trends in our institutional client flow into implementable trading ideas. At the same time, providing quick and accurate pricing is a cornerstone to our market making success, and your contribution in developing and maintaining tools in the pricing, trading and risk management of our various FX instruments will be vital. We will also need to be able to accurately assess the performance our teams, and you will play a key role in the preparation of P&L reports on a daily and monthly basis. At the end of this internship, you will develop a good insight into the FX market, as well as hone your skills in handling and shaping data into useful insights.
