Greater China Coverage Section in the Corporate Banking Department is responsible for managing develop, maintaining and further enhancing business relationship with existing/target customers, including Chinese state-owned & private-owned enterprises.

Role requirements

  • Follow the policies and direction to assist superiors in accomplishing overall duties and responsibilities;
  • Work with senior relationship managers and coordinate with product teams in different locations to serve core or targeting Chinese clients with comprehensive products globally;
  • Spearhead exploration to and deepen relationship with Chinese corporate clients on Greater China basis;
  • Visit and to maintain close contact as well as good relationship with existing customers for soliciting more business;
  • Develop business relationship with prospective customers.  

Essential Functions

  • To collaborate with Mizuho worldwide departments to implement Greater China account strategy for Chinese clients;
  • To review related credit application, monitor implementation, and comply with internal and external rules and regulations.


  • To proactively manages regular work without Department Head's instruction and handles irregular cases by obtaining necessary information and analyzing previous cases;
  • To provide guidance/feedback to junior staff where necessary;
  • To respect for and commit to high standards of business conduct and integrity in conducting operations/reporting, etc.

Work experience, education and skills

  • Bachelor degree in Business related disciplines, preferably;
  • Over 4-7 years’ experience in financial institutions; experience in team management is an advantage;
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
