Review, assess and approve complex and substantial credits with designated credit authority, and to ensure all credit risks have been deliberately reviewed, exhaustively revealed, prudently evaluated and properly defined.
Uplift lending practice and credit risk management control to prevent credit loss and minimize credit risk.
Ensure credit policies and lending guidelines responsive to the latest business environment and risk prevention in accordance with regulatory requirements and our risk appetite.
On-going credit monitoring of excesses and past dues.
Early identify deteriorating credit and timely review and update the loan classification.
Report credit quality to senior management timely.
Liaise with regulators, internal and external auditors on the refinement of credit management and respond to their findings and recommendations promptly.
Participate as a member of Credit Committee, Loan Review Committee, NPAP and Early Warning Review Forum etc.
Maintain and enhance our IRB bank status and uphold our credit rating systems.
Manage internal operation such as uplift of operation efficiency, allocation of duties, refinement of operations system and procedures.
Requirements
University degree in business administration, banking, accounting or finance or equivalent, and preferably with MBA
At least 15 years credit experience in commercial and SME banking with extensive coverage in Hong Kong, Macau and China
Possess In-depth knowledge of the principles, practice and techniques of credit approval and risk assessment.
Strong leadership, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Prudent, initiative, open-minded and with tactful communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS word, PowerPoint and Excel
