Our client is a Global Financial Institution, with a strong retail & wealth management business in placed, with strong presences in 19 countries across Asia Pacific Region. They are now looking for a seasoned and knowledgeable FCC professional to join them as Head of Financial Crime Compliance.
Our client is a Global Financial Institution, with a strong retail & wealth management business in placed, with strong presences in 19 countries across Asia Pacific Region. Their product range includes all asset classes, with strong commitment to grow in Asia. They are now looking for a Head of Financial Crime Compliance, Insurance to be responsible for all aspects in Anti-Money Laundering for their insurance business.
You will be a senior member of the Regional Financial Crime Compliance team, will be leaving a team of FCC professionals, to be based in HK, you will be reporting to the Regional Head of Financial Crime Compliance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing anti-money laundering policies and procedures for the region, to execute training strategies to local compliance team, identifying key issues in relation to AML, CTF and economic sanctions. You will also be a key point of contact to regulatory bodies in the region in regards to AML development and strategies. You will also be expected to make influence to management team as well as local compliance officers for the awareness of the importance of Anti-Money Laundering function for the Asia Pacific Region
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in Law or Accounting, with professional qualification is highly preferable, You will have at least 7 years AML compliance working experience in a financial services environment, ideally within the retail / wealth management space, with solid experience in handling regulators, along with strong management skills. You will possess excellent presentation and communication skills (Fluent Cantonese and English is a MUST) and an ability to deal with all levels of an organisation.
