We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Head of Product Management, Asia Pacific - Financial Crime Threat Mitigation (FCTM), Compliance

Principal responsibilities
  • Acting as Business Systems Owner for bespoke regional FCTM (Financial Crime Threat Mitigation) Systems, setting the strategic direction and applying judgment on criticality and operational prioritisation.
  • Acting as Regional representative for global FCTM Systems, acting as a conduit between local and global teams. Primarily responsible for BAU activities like issue resolution or defect management for regional systems. Acts as the first port of call in the event of a loss of a regional system. Plays the role as an advisor during Change activities providing regional SME perspective
  • Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and user interaction at all levels leading to informed and well-judged trade-offs and priority decisions to maximize business benefit.
  • Ensure requirements are communicated clearly, consistently and in context to Global Product Owners and colleagues at all levels
  • Ensure effective and efficient allocation of development budget and tasking of scare and specialist resources
  • Optimize systems usage in FCTM. Identify and eradicate duplication or underutilisation within the FCTM and across COMPLIANCE and lines of business.
  • Manage a team of business/data analysts and deployment specialists, nurturing talent and encouraging innovation.

  • Proven Project Management/Product Ownership experience in a complex global environment
  • Proven ability in leading technology teams using agile methodology and nurturing talent
  • Investigative and/or intelligence experience covering a wide range of financial crime threat areas, including management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical matters effectively with senior leaders in COMPLIANCE, the business, and the public sector.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and to deliver on time
  • Comprehensive knowledge of technology issues relevant to Financial Crime detection, analytics and investigation and the financial sector in general
  • Proven ability to rapidly develop matter expertise in a range of technical and non-technical areas, inc. machine learning and AI techniques
  • A personal and professional interest in security, intelligence and technology
