A specialist role for BAU Change Team who has experience with Investment Operations and Project Management to drive changes and initiatives such as new fund, mandate launch and other fund life cycle events in relation to middle office, fund accounting and custody. Work closely with internal stakeholders and third party service providers. Ensure readiness of ongoing Operational support for Fund, mandate launches and mergers with internal Counterparts and external service providers. Review operational feasibility of a new unit trust & client mandate. Agree and document related operating model and memorandum. Manage and implement life cycle events, changes of existing funds, client mandates from an operational perspective including but not limited to new usage of instrument, market account opening, broker & counterparty onboarding, custodian change, and provide recommendations on the operational support model of these events. Understand features, scopes and regulatory requirements of new security market or instruments. Agree and execute implementation plan with regards to system and operational model. Coordinate and update document, checklist and procedures workflow of the team.
To be qualified, you should be a Degree holder with around 6 to 10 years of working experience in fund management, custodian or middle office. Experience in coordinating operational changes, initiatives and fund onboarding within an asset managers among internal and third party service provider is preferred. Good understanding of all security types including OTC derivatives and Asia specific market such as Bond, Stock connect is a plus. Good knowledge of workflow of Fund administration, Middle Office and settlement functions and their key service providers in the market. Project management skills. Sound communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese.
