IT Business Analyst (Fund and Portfolio Management) - Wealth Management Group

 
Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to conduct an in-depth analysis of fund and portfolio management processes, systems, and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and delivering technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Gather and document detailed business requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business users and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with developers and quality assurance teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions, performing thorough testing and validation to meet business needs and compliance requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis, identifying patterns, trends, and insights to support data-driven decision-making and enhance investment strategies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on fund and portfolio management tools, systems, and technologies, providing guidance and support to users and stakeholders.
• Monitor and assess existing systems, identifying risks, issues, and areas for improvement, actively driving process enhancements and system updates.
• Stay current on emerging trends and best practices in fund and portfolio management technology, evaluating new tools and methodologies to drive innovation and efficiencies within the organization.
• Contribute to training and knowledge-sharing initiatives, creating user documentation and conducting training sessions to ensure optimal utilization of technology solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on fund and portfolio management.
• Sound knowledge of investment processes, fund accounting, and financial instruments.
• Proficient in documenting business requirements, use cases, and process workflows.
• Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to gather insights and make recommendations based on complex datasets.
• Solid understanding of programming concepts and familiarity with software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Results-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
